Target 900 Round Tournament

Picture
The MSAA State Target Tournament uses the large 122cm multi-colored face that is simply a joy to shoot at.

This tournament is held outdoors with Adults and Young Adults (15-17) shooting 30 arrows from 60-yards, 30 from 50-yards, and 30 from 40-yards.

6 arrows are shot in a group, known as an 'end', and two ends are allowed for practice before scoring begins.  All divisions shoot the same number of arrows.

Shooting distances for kids are:
  • Youth (12-14) shooting from 50, 40, and 30 yards
  • Cubs (8-11) shooting from 30, 20, and 10 yards
  • Midgets (7 and under) shooting from 20, 15, and 10 yards.

For some advice on preparing, read this article on Shooting in Outdoor Target Tournaments.
