Important 2010 MSAA 3D Speed Limit Notice
An arrow speed limit of 280 feet per second (fps) plus or minus 3 percent
will be in effect at the 2010 MSAA State 3D. Although the MSAA board had earlier suspended the speed limit, upon review it has been
reinstated for the sake of competition, the longevity of targets, and safety. Tournament staff reserve the right to ask that you shoot your
bow through a chronograph when there is an obvious concern related to arrow speed. In those cases where archers exceed the speed limit staff
will be on hand to assist in turning the bow speed down, otherwise those that exceed the limit must shoot from the challenge shooting stakes.
