Joe grunted and used his bleat can to call this buck in to 11yds, he only went about 40 yards after the shot.  This deer was harvested in 2006

Joe shot his moose on the last day of the Ontario archery moose season in 2004. Joe normally guides but took the last couple days of the season to head out with his son Alex, with Alex even getting in on the calling! Joe and Alex located this bull after having moved into a location where they had heard cow calls earlier. The bull presented a shot at 20 yards and went only a few yards more after being hit with a pass through shot from Joe's Bowtech Mighty-Mite bow. A great experience to share with a son or a daughter!

Joe bagged his bear during the Fall 2004 Ontario bear season. Joe had seen bigger bears but this one presented him with a great opportunity that he could not pass up!

On the first day of the hunt I had 7 jakes walk past me at 3 yds but I was unable to draw my bow with so many eyes looking around.  That evening we located a couple of mature Toms with some hens and jakes, we put them to roost and came back in the morning.  I watched my Tom strut for a hen less than 20yds away but on the wrong side of the fence line.  A few minutes later he crossed the fence row and I shot him at 31 yds with my Bowtech Guardian.  The Tom was more than I could have ever hoped for with an 11 1/2" beard and 1 1/2" spurs.  You can read the whole story in the Summer issue of Ontario Monster Whitetail magazine.
