Kim brings in some big carp while bow fishing; the Clausen's
are an all around hunting family!

From Kim's husband Brian:
This is a picture of my wife Kim?s first archery deer.
It is a 120 lb. doe that she got on Oct,
9th in the evening. She
made a perfect 20 yard heart shot on it. I don?t think you could have centered it much better.
The deer went about 100-110 yards, which she trailed with me marking blood
for her. It will give us something
great to remember for years, needless to say I?m very proud of how far she?s come
with archery in the past year. There?s
nothing quite like first deer excitement.

Brian shot this doe on September 30, and was happy to fill
the freezer. In Brian's own words:
"Here is a picture of a doe I shot Sept 30, she came into
a decoy just as I planned, translation ?the sun shines on every dogs #%@ once in
a while?. At any rate it was pretty
cool to see, and any deer is a trophy, something a lot of people need to be reminded
of. Meat's in the freezer, these bonus
tags are a great deal, a nice extension of the season.
I am a member of the Faribault Archery Club, we are breaking
ground on a new range this week, it will be a top notch range, double the lanes,
handicap accessible, kitchen, tack room, visible to the public, as best of all ours.
A much needed upgrade for our expanding
club."
